Overview
Pyfa (Python Fitting Assistant) is a cross-platform, open-source ship fitting tool for EVE Online, written in Python. It allows users to create, experiment with, and save ship fittings without being in game.
What it does
- Create, experiment with, and save ship fittings outside of the EVE Online client
- Notify the user when an outdated version is running
Platform
Desktop application running on any platform where Python 3 and wxWidgets are available, including Windows, macOS, and Linux. Self-contained builds are provided for all three operating systems. Additional installation options include Homebrew (brew install --cask pyfa) on macOS, an AUR package for Arch Linux, and a Gentoo overlay.

Third-party packages (Homebrew, Arch AUR, Gentoo overlay) are maintained by third parties and are not evaluated by the pyfa developers. Bug reports can be submitted via GitHub Issues or the official EVE Online forums. CCP hf. has granted permission to use EVE Online trademarks and artwork for promotional and informational purposes but does not endorse and is not affiliated with pyfa.
